這個禮拜天要去Academy Gallery看英國中古世紀的服裝展
“Period Costumes for the Screen” focuses on costumes made for films and miniseries set between the early 1500s and the 1950s. Some of the productions are based upon actual historic figures and events, others upon works of fiction. On display in the Academy’s Fourth Floor Gallery are 36 costumes worn by such stars as Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Nicole Kidman, Ralph Fiennes and Cate Blanchett.
The exhibition showcases the collaborations between Cosprop and such Academy Award®-winning designers as James Acheson, Jenny Beavan, John Bright, Milena Canonero, Anthony Powell and Deborah L. Scott, as well as Oscar® nominees Alexandra Byrne, Judy Moorcroft, Ruth Myers, Janet Patterson, Tom Rand and Tony Walton. It was organized by the Trust for Museum Exhibitions, Washington, D.C., in cooperation with Cosprop, Ltd., London, England.
The Academy’s Fourth Floor Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from noon to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

今年演藝學院又有了一系列的展覽
展覽早在九月就開始
只是一直沒有時間去...都要上班
12月意外的有幾天是沒連班的
於是就可以好好的去看展覽享受一下
這次的服裝展主題是女僕最愛的英國中古世紀時期，一共展示出36件由梅麗史翠普、妮可基嫚、凱特溫絲蕾、葛妮絲派特洛、艾瑪湯普森、凱特布蘭琪...等女星在電影裡所穿過的服裝，大部分的服裝都是由得過奧斯卡最佳服裝設計的設計師設計的，能夠有這樣的一個服裝展真的還蠻有意義的。
女僕決定這禮拜天去
因為展覽都是中午12點開始
所以先去看【服裝展】，然後再去看【劇照畫展】
因為這兩個展覽都是在位於 LA Downtown 的 Academy Headquarters 大樓裡
所以時間可以搭配的上
